For seven years as a professional plus-size runway model Lawanda was featured in Kymaro undergarment commercials, Wedding magazine spreads and appeared in Macy’s across California with Fashion Commentators Clinton Kelly and Floyd Boston from Jones of New York. At the time she was 215 pounds and wore a size 14-16 and felt confident. But behind the scenes, Lawanda had been trying to lose weight for years. Frustrations began to build, not knowing what to do and how to get started was always the battle. After a doctor’s visit, Lawanda was told her cholesterol was high and rising. Also knowing that diabetes and high blood pressure ran rampant in her family, Lawanda knew a real change had to take place.
Lawanda decided to commit three years to study fitness and nutrition from a nationally accredited school. Lawana began to apply what she learned and finally lost 60 pounds and 30 inches. She then understood by clean eating, physical exercise, prayer, meditation, and rest, she no longer was in danger of all those chronic health diseases. Lawanda mind had been renewed to do what was best for her, not just to lose weight.
Lawanda now has the knowledge and experience to eliminate the plateaus and slow progress, with scientific studies based on custom individualized assessments. She has found great success with my client’s training and conditioning and transformed them to believe in themselves and the power to take charge of their lives to create the body they’ve always wanted but didn’t know how to achieve... Once you believe you can, you will and the body will follow... Lawanda passion is for people to see how God works in us and through us for the good of all mankind and helps us to discover what the best part of us is!
Lawanda is certified in the following disciplines:

EMCEE: Kellye Eboni McKinley, Founder of OSK. A Champion for Women and Community
Kellye (Eboni) McKinley is a dedicated community leader, entrepreneur, and the founder of Our Sister’s Keeper (OSK)—a peer-led support group empowering marginalized women in Marin City. A survivor of a challenging childhood, Eboni transformed her personal hardships into a lifelong mission to uplift and support others. As a single mother of two and a proud grandmother, Eboni has spent decades fostering resilience and self-sufficiency in her community. With 18 years of early childhood development experience, she has been a trusted advocate for children’s education and well-being. Recognizing the systemic challenges women face, she launched Divine Diva’s Beauty Supply to provide Black hair care products locally and Miss Eboni’s Sugar Shack, a mobile youth center offering a safe and nurturing space for children. In 2015, Eboni formally founded Our Sister’s Keeper (OSK) to provide career guidance, life skills training, and emotional support for women facing adversity. Through OSK, she has built a powerful network where women find healing, encouragement, and the tools to achieve their full potential. Her unwavering commitment to service, business acumen, and deep community ties have made her a vital force for change in Marin City. Eboni envisions a world where all women—regardless of background—are nurtured, empowered, and given the opportunity to thrive. She lives by the motto: “Let’s be the change we want to see."
